How your company can benifit from a blog
Many large corporations are jumping on the blog bandwagon, not just to follow this new “trend” but because they want an effective method for reaching out to their audience. No longer is it the norm for companies to spend all their money on expensive forms of advertising via TV or radio, these days they want something they have control over, something they can update when they wish and something that will give them the edge over the competition.
To make an effective and valuable blog (yes they are profitable http://www.business-opportunities.biz/projects/how-much-is-your-blog-worth/) it is important to update them frequently, with information that is relevent to your customers.
According to a study by Forrester in January 2007, it was found that blogging create a stonger brand visibility online and that word of mouth, via other bloggers, had a much greater coverage than traditional advertising.
With consumers being better educated on what they want because of the vast amounts of information available on the internet customers want to know more about your products and services. Not only will a blog connect directly with your target audience faster and cheaper than traditional means, but because frequently updated information catches google’s eye, you will get the benefits of search engine visibility.
In short a blog should be an essential part of your marketing plan for 2010 and we can help.

Moo Cards
November 29, 2009 6:33 pm

moocardsMoo cards have been around for quite a while, and while we’ve been using them ourselves for a number of years, its only recently that we have started mentioning them to our customers.

Moo’s MiniCards which are just a bit bigger than a stick of chewing gum are a bargain at £10 for 100, the printing is very very good and you have a choice of creating up to 100 different designs for different cards. Most print companies will demand that you order at least 250 cards with the same design, which means if you move or re-brand, or if a member of staff leaves you have wasted money on perhaps 250 bin fillers…

The website makes it very simple to order your cards, you simply upload your design(s) and customise the back of the card. That’s all there is to it!

They dont just sell moocards either, they do normal business cards (but then who wants to be “normal”…), postcards, stickers, greetings cards and note cards.

All cards are packaged very nicely, the box that the cards come in is hard plastic, although you can buy a nice little moocard holder – which come in loads of colours (they also sell moo frames and envelopes too).

Don’t get behind the times…

If your business does not have a website then it is already at a disadvantage to your competitors.

The best designed websites will promote your business on the internet, and will also highlight the reasons a customer should choose you over anyone else.

The benefits of having your own website are countless. You can use this powerful tool for marketing up to the minute products or services to your loyal customers, or advertise to potential new clients.

Save money…

Business owners that are against building a website are missing a big piece of the pie. Marketing your business online can be just as successful as offline marketing, and is often a lot cheaper.

Get noticed…

If the content of your website is well written and has hard-hitting and relevant keywords, your business will benefit from a higher ranking on search engines. There are many companies currently enjoying large amounts of sales as a result of marketing online. The ability for consumers to complete sales or find new suppliers from the comfort of their home or business is increasing sales for many companies.

Remain on the radar…

Web presence can make small to medium businesses in particular more competitive, allowing them to incorporate new trends, as well as discover potential opportunities and problems without wasting time. A small business with Internet presence allows you to connect with a number of suppliers and customers that otherwise may not have been aware of your existence.

A lot of consumers will do their initial research on the web before making a buying decision. It is important that they are able to find you at that stage.

Get your website designed and developed by professional web developers, to ensure you receive the best possible product that is tailored to your individual requirements.

Your website should ideally be an extension of your brand, and should compliment any other advertising such as information provided in brochures and other print materials.

Try to keep your website up to date, your current and potential customers will need to know of any new services available and will need to be able to contact you when they need you.

Make the right choice…
